Fallen Willow Forge 08.02.2021

After listening to today's COVID 19 update from the province I have no choice but to cancel all Fallen Willow Forge workshops scheduled between Feb 9th and Feb 22, 2021. I had originally thought that under the Grey Zone restrictions for outdoor gatherings we could proceed with our workshops provided social distancing and mask requirements were upheld. Unfortunately, the State of Emergency (SOE) restriction specifically, the 'Stay at Home' (SAH) order will not be lifted from Y...ork Region until Feb 22nd, 2021. Under the SAH order only outdoor gatherings of a limited number of people from the same household are permitted, which excludes our workshops. Like you, I am disappointed with this current situation, however if we don't do the hard stuff now we'll be in this crappy situation even longer. I will make every effort to reschedule your workshop once we emerge from the SOE and SAH restrictions. If you have any questions please message me. Thanks for your understanding and patients during this time. Stay Safe! See more

To all the folks who have Fallen Willow Forge Gift Certificates. Feb 10th, 2021 is rapidly approaching and hopefully marks the end of the 28 day emergency lock down and possible easing of gathering restrictions. I'll be contacting you after Feb 10th if ,your workshop was postponed due to COVID or you had yet to firm up a workshop date. Stay safe.

After forging the Bobcat knife( from the previous post) I had a four inch length of 5160 left over from a cut-off, so I decided to forge this Push Dagger. It has a 2 1/2" blade, harden and tempered. The handle is White Oak. Overall length is 4 inches.
