This years Herring Sale is a go!

The Spot Prawn season has finally arrived!!! The fishery officially opened today however dock sales won't start until tomorrow at which time the boats will be in daily around 1pm for the next 4-6 weeks. The current price is $20 per/lb. Please practice social distancing and aim keep your stay at the wharf as brief as possible. With the demand from overseas markets and restaurants greatly reduced this year, there will be plenty of Prawns for everyone so there is little need to wait around before the boats arrive!

As most of you are probably already aware, the 2020 Annual Spot Prawn Festival has officially been cancelled. We look forward to welcoming you all back next year as we work to make the event even better. Take care and stay safe!
