There are sorrowful parts, joyful parts, confusing parts, simple parts, some may even say boring parts, yet we learn that the Lord is present in all parts and weaves them all together. In today’s culture the notion of striving to thrive is what we as Catholic Christians must counteract and instead learn to abide by. Apart from God we can do nothing and thus we need to embrace our story in its entirety, with confidence that with the Lord He writes all our lines.
