Family Enrichment & Counselling Service 02.05.2021

We are writing to share the exciting news that Solace is officially launching this coming Tuesday, March 23rd from 6-8 PM! We are pleased to be running the group in-person, in our offices at 356 Queen Street using COVID protocols (masks, social distancing). We feel comfortable offering this group in-person as Fredericton’s COVID cases have plummeted and we are safely back in Yellow zone. The theme of this month’s group will be Caring for self while caring for others. Over ...the course of this last year, we have been supporting one another in formal and informal ways whether it is in your work, relationships, friendships, or larger community, we are getting each other through. It has been a heavy year, full of ups and downs. We are happy to present this session as a way to acknowledge the impact of this on ourselves holistically, as well as to strategize on how to maintain balance, focus, compassion, and community as we witness difficulty and support one another. Solace is an open group, meaning that you can come for one session or for all that will be offered. They will run on the third Tuesday of every month. We have worked hard to keep the price low for this group; pricing is on a sliding scale, ranging from 7-25$ per session. Pre-packed (COVID safe!) snacks and refreshments will be provided. Solace is geared towards adults (18+) but stay tuned for more information coming soon about Solace for Youth (13-17). To register, please call FECS reception at 506-458-8211 or send an email to [email protected].
