Have you ever created an obstacle course? What items did you use? Obstacle courses are a fun way to challenge a child's mind and body. Through this activity, children have an opportunity to create, problem-solve, and fine-tune their gross motor skills. Children who are active from a young age will often continue to be physically active later in life. Join Family Centre Argyle and get moving with your child at Kiwanis Park Thursday afternoons. Check out our Eventbrite page to register for these events. Here is a little glimpse of our Physical Break obstacle course.

We all know that geese head south for the winter, but why do they fly in the shape of a letter ‘V’? Scientists believe it’s because it’s less windy for the birds falling behind each other. That must make it pretty tough for the goose up front, right? It does, but they take turns being the lead goose and this way they can travel further before stopping to rest. Talk about team work! #FamilyCentreArgyle #EarlyON #NatureRocks
