I always take issue with calling a co parent, "my ex." Ex what? I find it disrespectful when there are children born of a union that once worked. They hear everything we say. My former husband, the father of my 3 now grown children, is always refered to as my "ex-husband" and I, his "ex-wife". I find the language more respectful. May seem like a small detail but it's the little nuances that buildup a strong co parenting future. It has worked for us for 15 years. #Respect
