Hey everyone! While some of us saw this comming, no one thought to what extreme it would go! I know times can be tough but just try to keep busy and smile. Take this time to be with family, friends and close ones. This could also be a great time to be creative together. Painting, drawing, origami, making pillow forts or any other fun thing you come up with. Some websites for ideas: www.dltk-kids.com... www.enchantedlearning.com www.funfamilycrafts.com Along with the fun make sure to keep clean and aware of your surroundings. While the hospitals do their part let's do ours and stay clean and safe while practicing social distances. From all of us here at Family First Take care and hope to see you all soon!

Free play! We love it! Parents remember the bigger the mess the more they are learning! Free play plays an essential role in children's over all development, and creating intentional free play experiences future more increases their learning! ... Example of intentional play experience: Reading a book with children about cars, then placing cars on a table. You will allow the child to explore on their own and you will see how your child will mimick things they saw in the book or even make connections too it! Note: While children are involved in free play ask them open ended questions that will help expand their mind and their play experience!

We love our learning how to write our letters! Note to parents: When you print or buy ABC worksheets remember to make sure it includes pictures that they can color! The image gives them a connection to the individual letter, which increases their letter memorization. Coloring also helps develop their fine motor and writing skills!

We love crafts using simple paper and glue. It is a great way to promote fine motor development, hand eye coordination, and it's a great tool to help children learn the necessary techniques for writing!

Our Chinese New Year Celebration video for 525 location is ready ! The Chinese New Year isn't on December 31st or January 1st. It is later in January or in February. The Chinese New Year celebrates the first day of the first month on the Chinese calendar. It is also called the Spring Festival and is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. ... The New Year can be a time of reflecting on what we’ve accomplished in the past year, as well as what potential opportunities the New Year can afford. This time of the year also can provide an opportunity for kids to enhance their appreciation of diversity as we explore various cultures and traditions. We love to learn about different cultures, be creative and have fun . Last week children learned about China , enjoyed Chinese fairy tales and fun crafts ! They also enjoyed treats and a dragon dance. We are very happy to present these moments!
