Stuff we all have it. Some of us want to streamline our lives while others are looking to downsize. Whatever your reasons, along with the stuff, comes memories - the dining room set that hosted family suppers and celebrations, the t-shirt that you bought at a rock legend’s concert or the piece of pottery made by a close friend. These things hold stories. So let’s tell them. This way we can keep the story and give the object away. ... Join Lea Storry on Zoom for writing exercises instruction in finding focus outlining your story writing description as well as discussions on memories, mindfulness and how to pass down our most valuable possessions our stories. Be prepared to share your stories and ideas. No prerequisites or pre-existing pieces of writing are necessary for participation in this course. Location: Zoom Dates of 3-week workshop: Wednesdays, Feb. 24, Mar. 3 and Mar. 10 (7 p.m. to 9 p.m. MST) Price: $150 To register, send an e-mail with your name and phone number to [email protected]. There is a class limit of 12 participants. A non-refundable $10 deposit is required to hold your spot. This deposit will go towards your registration fee and will be collected after confirmation of participation in the course. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Lea Storry is a published writer, editor and indie publisher. She knows that she can’t hold onto things just for the memories -- it’s the stories that matter, not the stuff.
