Last post for the week! It can be tempting to always be on the go, packing in as much adventure or action as possible, but for many of us, this past year has forced us to slow down. And that’s not all bad. Try to do something restful as well, before everyone is back to school next week! Another Simple Spring Break ideas coming at you! Play is so important for learning, but a lot of times, it gets squished out of our schedule for more important things. Take some time to play this week - whatever that looks like for you! Maybe it’s a sport, maybe it’s a group game with your family, or outside with friends. Maybe for you, playing looks like being creative! Whatever it is, keep playing! #simplespringbreak

Hi families! In connection with our post about reading this meeting, we want to help you out with some free reading material! We picked up some books for our Book Buddies program a while ago, but they’re not the best fit for our 1-5 year old group. The first picture shows the options we have available to give away. We have more of some titles than others. You can send us a message, text 204-595-5005, or email [email protected] to let us know if you would like to pick up one or more of the books. We also are cleaning up our puzzle collection, so if you like puzzles, and don’t mind if they’re used, let us know! They range in size from 12-piece to 100-piece. (More are available than pictured.)

Simple Spring Break tip #2! If you’re are a reading family, then this one will be easy! Reading on vacation is not everyone’s ideas of a good time, but try to find something that will appeal to your child. Are they into princess stories, race cars, or sports stories? You can bet there’s a book about it! Follow their interests, and maybe take a trip to our local library. #simplespringbreak
