Pre Lockdown Nails Our work is a work of passion More then a job, we love what we do, it feeds our families, keeps a roof over our heads and pays our bills. ... Again we have been Forced to close our doors with No notice. @fordnationdougford can you tell us why you think we are high risk?

We are a small business of personal care services and forced to close again after thousands of dollars spent in getting our work place to go above and beyond to meet all the safety measures to protect our staff, clients and our community. We are extremely thorough in screening each and everyone that enters our facility and yet we are forced to close meanwhile the other none essential businesses such as the mall is allow to open. How safe is the screening at the mall with 1... person asking questions at the entrance and no temperature check!!!. Does this decision make any sense, can anyone tell me or I am just getting crazy and can’t see the justification??? There are sick patients at the hospital, at the nursing homes that can’t even see their designated family member because of this emergency break lockdown but yet you go to the mall. Are the new cases from small businesses or from inconsiderate social gatherings? I am so upset with this decision as I know that the numbers are not from our personal care businesses, and because we are a small businesses, we had no voice @fordnationdougford Dear Mr.Ford I ask you to come to our business and see what we have been doing since July when we opened after the first shut down. I can assure you we are much safer then most of the places you have allowed to stay open! Unfortunately we are now closed until further notice. Possibly 28 days! A move we don't really understand as we have done everything we possibly can to keep everyone safe. Although grateful for 2020 I sure am ready for 2021, but.... I would like to see the terms and conditions first. 2020 gave people a chance to slow down, and see the bigger picture. We all were in fast forward mode, missing many great things. Our kids are growing so fast and some of us didn't even get to enjoy it. I loved every minute I got with mine. 2020 made us realize how important family is, we say I love you and I miss you but I am sure we now feel those words. Famil...y is everything! 2020 showed me to be kind, many of us are not in the same boat, many of us have a smile hiding fear. Kindness always wins! 2020 gave me perspective into where we are in life. I absolutely love my career and wouldn't change it for nothing. 2020 thank you for flipping our world upside down, but I am ready for 2021 and Jumanji to be over. Thank you to all our front line workers, nurses, psw, mail carriers, teachers, cashiers, restaurants, janitors, cleaners, help lines, therapists.... I am sure I missed so many. Thank you to everyone just riding through this pandemic while being kind and understanding. Missy

Yesterday we dropped of the cheque for $2440 to the London Food Bank from our wonderful Christmas raffle baskets! We want to thank everyone who donated and everyone who purchased tickets!
