We can't go back to t...he isolation and suffering that congregate care residents have experienced for six months. A balance must be struck between public health, and the emotional, mental, and physical health of residents. I'm looking forward to the debate and vote on this bill on September 24.

We’re retrofitting our 12 year old barn to house our studio space. . . The studio will offer small group training programming: TRX, HIIT, Boxing and more to be announced soon. . . Classes will be a max of 8 people with social distancing in place until further notice. Small group allows you to get the attention you need to stay motivated, accountable and educated in your movement. . . Pricing and membership options will be announced very soon. What we can tell you now is that there will be no long term commitments required. Everything is pay as you go so you don’t have to worry about your money being tied up in case of a second shut down. . . Attention boarders Friday July 24th Halton Region will be advancing to Phase 3 of the re-opening plan. This will mean that as of Friday morning we will no longer require boarders to make appointments and you may come as often and for as long as you like. HURRAY!!!! This also allows the use of the indoor arena. *HOWEVER, Ontario is still under the State Of Emergency order. For the time being, we will be restricting visitors to boarders and the members of their household (thos...e who live with you) only. We will not be open to other friends or family until the emergency order for the province has been lifted. *ALSO, all DISTANCING, BIOSECURITY PROTOCOLS, SIGN IN & OUT are still required. *Continue to do as much of your grooming, tacking, farrier visits etc OUTSIDE as possible. YOU are responsible to inform your part boarders. Thanks in advance for your continues cooperation.

We (Fiddlehead Care Farm) are happy to report that we have been given the go ahead by public health to begin running some small groups on the farm. We will be o...ffering a 6 session Co-Care Farmers Group starting next Friday (July 10) from 10:00am-12:00pm. Details in the flyer attached. We are maxing the group out at 4 participants and have activities planned that encourage social distancing and keeping everyone healthy while still allowing the learning and practicing of social and life skills on the farm.
