I enjoyed a workout with Michelle from the Melville Advance. I’d love for city people to come out for a sweat, talk to me about how I raise my livestock and then buy a side of beef from me. What a great way to tie everything together Farm. Food. Fitness. Fresh air.

If it’s a way for me to share the story of agriculture and bridge some of the misconceptions between farmers and urban audiences, that would be very cool to do in a way that’s unique and engaging, he said. Had a great workout today with Heather and Jocelyn. We all got a little red faced and sweaty outside, then had a nice lunch talking goals, farm frustrations, stress management, soil health and intercropping. Somehow CTV heard about it and came out to capture our fun. Afterwards Heather took off to do her chores, Jocelyn was on the phone balancing tank seeding rates before leaving and I went for an evening hike walking fencelines to plan repairs. ... A beautiful Saturday outside, with my kind of people. https://regina.ctvnews.ca/mobile/video?clipId=1968594

Today was a beautiful day on the farm with Brendon and Julie from @villains_sc After destroying our upper bodies lifting, we finished with a for time workout with 3 rounds of: -12 post lunges -12 burpees over post... -12 tire flips -12 tire deadlifts -12 hanging pikes We closed out with sledgehammer smashes and then refuelled with brunch, coffee and good conversation. Friday. Fitness. Food. Friends. Farm. That felt great. #cultivateyourself

This is Paige. Paige is a Farmer. She grows wheat, canola, soybeans, peas and lentils on some 7000 acres in south central saskatchewan and is busy managing that and a family and a career in Ag sales. Paige has her own fitness journey, shedding insecurities and some 70 lbs after university in a self-guided health and personal awareness journey. ... While we sweated we talked about how rarely does a commitment to fitness and health not also be matched with gains in personal perception. Confidence, personal awareness, goal refinement and stress management are all organic results for so many people who make commitments to fitness and to themselves. We talked how much less focus needs to be on the self judgement of what your dealing with and more focus on the gains being made by dealing with it. If you met Paige in the boardroom of her agriculture commodity group, you’d think she’s a powerhouse, savvy, respected, confident leader. And she is. But she is because she has put in the work and continues to do it. This is Paige. She’s a farmer and when I struggled through my last few reps of shoulder presses, she reminded me to breathe. I want to be in her league. #farmleaguefitness #cultivateyourself
