Today was an exciting day at FITD celebrating the one and only BRIAN who was celebrating 50 in style today with all his favourite things! Happy Birthday Brian!

We want to thank all the amazing people that donated items to the gift bags that were brought out Saturday by Chantel and Shauna for the residents to cheer them up during Covid! We are all so grateful. We are looking forward to spring and new beginnings! We have been enjoying snow hills, St, Patrick's day & of course everyday fun times together. We are so proud of the residents and how well they have adapted this year. Soon we will be out and about more, we can't wait!

Wow! We are all pretty proud of this Farm in the Dell Resident! Way to go Dylan!! What an experience this will be!

We are looking for a good solid trampoline or two for the farm. If you or anyone you know is looking to find a new home for one, please message us! We have a number of residents who would really enjoy spending lots of time outside on a trampoline.

Today may be 'Cyber Monday' for sales but as a reminder tomorrow, December 1st is 'Giving Tuesday'. Giving Tuesday is a global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday.

1st Annual Christmas Campaign To "Fill The Barn" Our residents love the holidays. In 2020 they feel thankful for the year they had! They enjoyed many things this year such as going to work on the farm with meaningful work opportunities and enjoying all the time with their animal friends at the farm. Without the amazing support from donors, these things would not have been able to happen. If possible, please donate to our cause so 2021 can be as great as last year!... We have two ways we are looking to raise funds for the barn & animals that enrich the residents lives and make Farm in the Dell a unique and special group home setting. Fill the Barn - A $50 donation to Purchase a "Bale" or a "Stack of Bales" for $250.00 Brick by Brick - Purchase a brick for our new fire pit area (coming Spring 2021), the barn, the animals & our vocational work programs for 2021 with a generous $1,000 donation gets you a brick with your name on it on the brick donor wall All donations of $50 or more come with a tax receipt as well as a special Christmas Card (if received by Jan 1, 2021) hand made by the residents and if you are able to purchase a brick this year the residents will be personally signing your card How to Donate? It was a very exciting day today to be able to celebrate our 10yr Anniversary at FITD! We are all so very thankful to the Board of Directors (current and past), Management and Staff (current & former) at FITD that make the farm the place it is today supporting the residents we all greatly love and care about! We are also very thankful for the on-going support of the community. It was a special day for all the residents and staff to reflect on the last ten special years. We are excited for what the next ten years will bring!
