This is so interesting. We are not convinced that the nuances of personal finances can be conveyed in less than sixty seconds, but hey, if it gets people thinking about their financial life, opening TFSAs, budgeting - well then, we are all for it. (Maybe one day they will go from TikTok to a YouTube explanation of modern monetary theory...!)

Watching HGTV can be a bit of an obsession. Our guess is that it taps a nerve into what can be possible and what change can look like. Bran Baeumler has FIVE top rated shows on the channel and yet bravely decided to change up his and his family's life (and of course, make a TV show out of it). Listen to what working hard, taking a risk and being open to new opportunities means to him. And then, we can take a look at ourselves and ask what we could do if we opened the door to new possibilities. Be interested to know what you think!

This is a sad day when we lose Alex Trebek (age 80) from pancreatic cancer and Howie Meeker. Canadian icons indeed.
