The new North Shore Waste Water Treatment Plant (NSWWTP) construction started by Design Build Joint Venture (DBJV) of Acciona (process), Cole (structure), BBA (mechanical and electrical), Wood (former AMEC, geotech) and others. A large, exciting project employing the latest waste water treatment technology to replace the old plant right under Lions Gate.

After immigration in 2003, I joined Glotman.Simpson Structural Engineers, one of the best companies in North America in design of high-rises. And I was lucky to start my Canadian career with the beautiful building of the new Vancouver Convention Centre. A team of four engineers worked on the project and my task was design of all horizontal members (beams) with up to 70 m spans. It was very challenging; meanwhile, very exciting.
