Super strange times these days. To be honest, while being stuck at home, I haven't really been in the mood to get dressed up much lately... But, this Thursday (May 14th) is National Caesar Day here in Canada and I’m due for a bit of a celebration. So on Thursday, I’m going to get styled in a favourite outfit, make myself a Caesar cocktail and do some good with the crew from Walter Craft Caesar by donating money to the great folks at Second Harvest Canada. I know it’s been a while; and this is my first message during the especially crazy times for all. To be in isolation, kinda feels like my post-season... you know, that period between Xmas, New Years, and everyone going back to work, that everyone doesn’t even know what day it is... and it’s all a blur?! Ya that period. But obviously under much worse circumstances this time around for sure. I just wanted to jump on here and thank al of you that have been reaching out. But a...ll stress the importance for everyone to practice the social and physical distancing guidelines required. So please STAY HOME! - But to also practice emotional guidelines, compassion, patience, and love! It’s our civil duty to support our communities and courageous #frontline healthcare workers. No matter where you are in the world! - As for me, I’ve taken up yoga with @breatheandflow please check them outthey’re amazing! As well as going for daily runs. Now is an Amazing time to spend on YOU with a little self care. There’s no excuse. I know I sure am. I want to do my part and will be trying to fill you in on what I’m doing to keep busy, and with words of encouragement, because I know it isn’t easy for a lot of us. But hang in there!
