And here is a more involved mask tutorial -- it is in Chinese, but it also has English translations, a very good visual video tutorial (that you don't need to speak Chinese to understand ( I don't speak either)-- great comic drawings to explain droplets & filter effectiveness and filter alternative suggestions , and different aspects of masks, mask care etc. It also has a very professional free pattern. https://diymask.site/

Ok! So here we go with some mask tutorials! Here is a great visual step-by-step that you can machine sew - or hand sew. No experience neccesary! https://www.usatoday.com//coronavirus-face-mas/2945209001/

Stage 2: Next! I fit the samples to myself and others, adjust fit, talk to Lily about adjustments for fit and ease of sewing, perhaps do more samples - for sure do more samples- it's rare to get a perfect fit the first time around. When I'm satisfied with the design - I break out the real fabric to cut! That's Stage 3 - stay tuned. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_c6whbpzm6/

Good morning! Talking slow fashion design process today! Stage one: For any design process from a mask to a dress, it starts with an design inspiration - perhaps a fabric, a color in nature, a historical photo, a need for a functional piece, or even a piece of architecture -- I do a rough sketch, do some research, sketching, and then sit down to do the rough working pattern ( blueprint). I trace it, and then I cut and sew a sample for fit. I might do one pattern draft and sample, I might do five - it all depends on the complexity of fit and design.
