This quote really resonates with me! For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about health and fitness. I was very active in gymnastics when I was ...young and participated in sports all through school. In my adult years, I have enjoyed running, rowing,strength training and my new found love for cycling. Moving my body makes me feel good. It increases my energy but it also positively impacts my mood and my mindset! I have NEVER once walked away from a workout sayingGeez, I really wish I hadn’t done that. In this time of uncertainty, working out has been imperative for keeping my body healthy, my thoughts positive and keeping me out of my own head. Working out is something that I CAN control. Something that I look forward to doing every day. Something that always makes me feel strong, empowered and quite honestly a badass!! Fitness is my passion. Being courageous on the other hand has never been my strong suit. I tend to stick to my comfort zone most of the time and would rather not be the center of attention. When I decided at the age of 48 that I wanted to become a personal trainer in order to help people feel their best, it put me WAY OUT of my comfort zone. I had to be courageous,strong,confident and determined in order to reach my goals. And believe me when I tell you that doing things scared can also be so exhilarating and empowering!! Making my goals a reality took me out of my comfort zone and showed me that when my purpose met my passion, I was unstoppable. I reached my goal of becoming a personal trainer. But I didn’t stop there! I had a desire to learn more and become more qualified so I could reach more people. Partnering with the FASTer Way To Fat Loss and becoming a certified coach has enabled me to help clients from all over the world. Teaching women that they don’t have to starve themselves, or workout for hours on end has positively impacted my life and brought me so much joy. Teaching women that they don’t have to settle fires me up and makes my job so incredibly satisfying. Helping women to feel and look their best will never get old. Psst...... did you know eating fats won’t make you fat? This salad is FULL of healthy fats, along with some protein and carbs! In the FASTer Way, we use a strat...egy called Carb Cycling. That just means that we intentionally vary our carb intake throughout the week. On Monday and Tuesdays we have low carb days. We eat less than 50 grams of net carbs. We DOUBLE our grams healthy fats, and eat moderate protein. We pair this with HIIT workouts! The rest of the week we enjoy all the carbs!
