All salespeople are greedy, slimy cockroaches! . . All of them. .... But... . But isn’t that a little bit unfair? . To categorize the entire composition of a human being based on their profession? . Based on the route they chose to feed their families? . Take car salespeople.They have a reputation of being the most shameless of them all! . And yet, I know two people in that industry personally. Although I don’t see them as often as I’d like, I can tell you that when they’re around, they’re two of my favourite guys in any room. . I’ve learned that people don’t like realtors either. . When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them I’m in Real Estate. . I feel them lean back. . (I’m not trying to sell your house, I’m only answering your question!...and honestly, I just want to pet your dog). . I know if my answer was Veterinarian or something, the reaction would be different. . Unfortunately, we as an industry have an image we can’t escape. . Mostly because of a few rotten apples. I’m not in denial of that. . But it’s an image I didn’t sign up for. And one I certainly don’t stand for! . It’s archaic. And it’s not who I am. . Not even a little bit. . Jason and I come from the modern age of sales and service. . We actually started as salespeople in the Sports Industry where we designed experiences for the fans! . We put people first. Always. (I have examples, but I’ll save them for later). . Our clients are our friends. They are more than just a neighbourhood statistic or a sold over asking sign. . And we do what it takes to ensure that they know that. . That you know that. . The infrastructure of our business is built on Integrity. . We have strong moral principles and value long term relationships. It’s who we are. . This year is drawing to a conclusion. . I’m going to tell you about a boy who I had a crush on in high school. Nearly two decades later, I’ll never forget this story. It was the second period. Grade 10. Math Class. In a portable.... It was a COOL class. This wasn’t the class you skipped. It was the one you looked forward to because of the people in it. Although disclaimer: I was a little less cool and never actually skipped class anyways lol. There was this boy I had a crush on. He had no idea. I have a terrific poker face. A group of us that were ...not total BRAINERS at math sat together. And to be honest, we supported each other and it helped us learn. He was part of that group. We both loved Fall Out Boy. (Remember the band?...Remember ‘going to shows’?) They had a concert coming up and he REALLY wanted to go. I knew I could get tickets. So I went through my sources and got GREAT seats! The next day I left the envelope on his desk. To: Crush From: Krystle I figured since we both talked about them all the time, and I got him tickets - we could go together! He opened the envelope and was THRILLED! He hugged and thanked me for the tickets...but that was it. I felt a little confused Then he said he couldn’t wait to ask this girl in his English class that he liked to go with him. I was devastated Years later and I look back on this story and know that because I never told him how I felt...how could he possibly have known I wanted it to be US? Not THEEEEEMM. Fast forward...their date sucked. And we ended up dating anyway. But the point I am making is that when you like something (a girl, a guy...A HOUSE). Don’t sit and wait on it. Make the decision you need to get what you want! Because as quickly as you can say SOLD. That girl, guy, house will be going on a date with someone else. And you’ll have lost your big shot. Or the house. And most often than not, there isn’t a second chance.

SUNDAY SUGO . We believe that reaching the top of one mountain means looking up from the bottom of the next one. When we worked in the sports industry, the motto was : ... Get comfortable being uncomfortable. We have learned how to lead ourselves through some tough times. We lace up and train harder the days we’d rather stay in bed the most. We could have used this year as an excuse to fall back. Shrug our shoulders and call the whole thing off. But instead we ran straight into it, yelling into the wind with swords raised over our heads. ...at least that’s how it feels doesn’t it? We knew that people were counting on us. And like everyone there are times that we feel like quitting. But that’s just not who we are designed to be. So before you give up on something you want most, take a moment to think about how close you already are. It might just be a few Inches from your grasp.
