Good Morning Father Turcotte Families, Thank you for sending your children to school with their masks and face shields. It's been a terrific start up. We have ...been teaching and reminding our students proper handwashing techniques and doing handwashing and hand sanitizing multiple times a day. The students are in cohorts and have adapted to wearing their masks so easily. I just wanted to take this time to remind you of your daily screening for symptoms. This is from Alberta Health Services and you can actually see all of this on our FMCSD website. As well, you can sign up to get a screening reminder text message every morning. I get one every morning myself. PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY: Covid 19 symptoms have been separated into two categories. Category 1: The first category is more severe and legally requires you to isolate for at least 10 days from the start of your symptoms or until they resolve, whichever is longer. These symptoms are: fever, cough (new cough or worsening chronic cough) shortness of breath or difficulty breathing (new or worsening) runny nose sore throat If you are tested for Covid 19 and you receive negative results, you are still legally required to isolate for at least 10 days from the start of your symptoms or until they resolve, whichever is longer. After the 10 days are up, you can complete the daily checklist each morning, if there are still symptoms, your child is to stay home, please call the office or email to excuse. Continue this step until there are no longer symptoms. Category 2 The second category is less severe but you are still required to stay home and minimize your contact with others until your symptoms resolve. These symptoms are: chills painful swallowing stuffy nose headache muscle or joint aches feeling unwell, fatigue or severe exhaustion gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or unexplained loss of appetite) loss of sense of smell or taste conjunctivitis, commonly known as pink eye We are very grateful to be back at school and we want to continue to do so in this new normal. And while it is frustrating and at times an inconvenience to do these measures, they are necessary now and a part of our new normal. The more we all take care of ourselves and monitor our symptoms, the safer we will be and with God's grace - we will get through this soon. If you have any questions or concerns, please email or call me. God bless. Jody Seymour Principal Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and loved - put on compassion, kindness, gentleness, humility and patience. - Colossians 3:12. Lead with compassion - and you will be bearers of hope in this world.

Wow! A HUGE thanks to our friends at Education Station and all of their friends who donated to our school! We were not expecting this today at all so to have su...ch blessings bestowed upon us is truly awesome. God provides and works through others. Really - there are not enough words. This is Mrs. Fitzpatrick along with some very thankful students with 1 of 7 loads like this. Can I get an Amen? See more

FT 2020 Terry Fox Run! Oh my I wish you could hear them. They are so happy and proud. Every time they pass me they shout out how many laps they’ve done for Terry or say, Hello Ms. Seymour! These were the days we longed for during the quarantine. So blessed.
