It’s been a while since we could help the community the way we wish we could right now. But, with a fresh start to a new year, we’ve been able to reminisce on the people we’ve had the privilege of meeting in the past when we volunteered at Mamas for Mamas last year a local charity in Kelowna BC that helps families in need. As soon as we gave Justine a trim and style at Mamas for Mamas, you could see how welcomed, warm and comfortable she felt, which she said doesn’t happen ...a lot. Justine lives with a borderline personality disorder and told us this haircut boosted her mentally and spiritually. She joked that it felt like she just cut the negativity off and we witnessed a beautiful, happy person emerge. Her advice? You gotta trust your struggle, it always makes you stronger.
