Things are quiet with clients in their cars but the dogs who love their acupuncture were unchallenged by covid restrictions.

As of today, our veterinary group has responded to the Covid numbers across the country by returning to the animal only in the clinic model. In the valley, this is more challenging situation AND many of my patients can be treated without their human caregivers in the room. We will also do as much as we can by phone and Zoom for non-acupuncture/Bowen patients. While this is very annoying, it is for our collective safety so bear with us as we work out how to proceed.

You may be surprised to know that cats are just as easy to acupuncture as dogs. This is Max, soaking up his first treatment for kidney disease.

Victor is in for a tune up acupuncture. He has what we like to call co-morbidities, cancer of his spleen (hemangiosarcoma) and osteoarthritis that was preventing him from walking much. These days he takes herbs and CBD oil for his cancer and acupuncture to help him move around comfortably. He is now able to get up and down easily and can walk quite well again. His tumour is unchanged with no episodes of weakness suggesting a bleed.
