Good new from our Honorable Secretary, Tom Wallace regarding Jean Watson: "I spoke with Angus MacKaracher yesterday evening, Jean's son. Angus informs that she has undergone chemo (two types). She is responding well, and is still very witty. To quote Angus, 'She's back [mentally] to where she was in early September.' Jean has been moved to Abbie Lane Health Sciences Centre. Angus shared that Jean has very much appreciated the cards and notes. She is still very tired from ...her treatments, and is receiving few visitors. She likes the food much better at Abbie Lane than the Infirmary. She has been asking about us. I request that we continue to send notes and cards of encouragement to our beloved Jean. " We all send warm wishes and thoughts to Jean to hurry her on a speedy recovery.
