Feeding Hannibal 03.03.2021

OMG! It's been quite a week in the run-up to the premier of American Gods - whom I've been feeding since we went into production last year. But never fear, Fannibals - we still have Hannibal events going on. Looking forward to the first North American Hannibal Convention being held in Toronto this fall. I'll start posting updates in the summer. In the meantime, check out my Feeding American Gods blog, which starts this week - a behind the scenes look at shooting that fantas...tic series, a bunch of god-explaining and of course recipes! http://janicepoonart.blogspot.ca/

Thank you 10,000 Fannibals who got a first edition!!! My Feeding Hannibal Cookbook has sold out of it's first print run after only 2 days! No worries if you haven't ordered your copy yet -- the 2nd print run is on the press now and will be here in time for Christmas. Meanwhile, Amazon is still shipping back-orders and a few stores have copies left.

TWO WEEKS! Two weeks left before we get together at The Chefs House in Toronto for George Brown College's Hannibal Dinner. In the meantime, I'm working like a mad dog on American Gods, Shape of Water (Guillermo del Toro) and M Atwood's Handmaid's Tale. Also, been carving turnips for Hallowe'en. Tarting them up with a little holiday makeup. Did you know they were the original Jack o Lanterns? Put a little tea light candle in them. Spooky and cute!

Yay! Hallowe'en month is finally here! To celebrate, make my vegetarian Pumpkin Lasagna al Dentures - just like Mama Dolarhyde used to make for her little Red Dragon. For the recipe, you'll have to wait until my cookbook drops Oct 18, but still in time for Hallowe'en dinner!
