Reporting to the VP, Operations, the incumbent ensures that manufacturing, inventory control processes, customer requirements, company policies and procedures along with current legislation are met as per Business Plan and Objectives. Key performance indicators are: on time delivery, variance dollars, and internal/external rejections. Responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to: managing the facility to ensure adequate staffing and equipment is available to... the operations; ensure staff are trained and cross-trained to meet maximum production output; manage the warehouse to ensure inventory levels are available to meet customer demands; provide technical support; coordinate health and safety initiatives; and ensure quality standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will be a College Graduate, experienced and able to thrive in a challenging, fast paced environment, with the following education and experience: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree preferred. Ideally 8+ years management experience in a manufacturing environment Experience working in a textile field and working with manufacturing cells Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office Experience in production planning, coordination, and supervision within a manufacturing environment (inventory and scheduling) Experience in employee training (program creation and delivery) Experience in bill of material and drawing interpretation Experience with test data and certification procedures Experience using ERP software Ability to communicate to all levels of employees, both verbally and in writing Ability to multi task and work on various projects at any given time (time management) Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail Demonstrated effectiveness in managing and leading direct report To Apply please submit a resume and cover letter with 'Plant Manager' in the subject line to: [email protected]

Fellfab Limited made a generous donation today on behalf of the FELLFAB Board of Advisors that will be used to purchase food to support Hamilton’s Emergency Food Network.

Reporting to the VP, Finance, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of procurement at FELLFAB including purchasing, transportation and logistics, inventory, contract pricing negotiations and purchasing administration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Managing the Purchasing Department for the Group of Companies within Company approved policies... Competitively sourcing required products and services Providing timely information on materials and freight as requested on all request for quotes, to support our bid process Continually improve purchasing methods to drive down annual spend. Negotiating supply agreements/ contracts where appropriate that will include a discount structure and volume rebates. Participation in the vendor audit program on key/new suppliers Measure and communicate supplier performance through the quarterly supplier report cards. Supporting Quality initiatives under AS9100 such as Suppliers CARS Development of key supplier relationships, which are aligned to the Company’s needs. Developing the material supply plan to meet customer needs as identified by our sales and production scheduling process. Maintaining awareness of classification / tariffs for existing products and materials used Understanding documentation requirements for custom clearance. Negotiating inbound and outbound freight contracts Ensuring all aspects of the company environmental plan and government requirements are adhered to as they relate to disposal of material Ensuring Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are requested and received as per requirements Providing regular monthly reports against goals and objectives and tracking on Key Performance Indicators.
