Absolutely disgraceful! Canada should be ashamed of what we’ve become. And church, O church, man up! Onward Christian soldiers! Stand up and stop cowering to these leaders! Christians, Covid is not the great threat men and women need refuge from. God’s wrath is coming and the world needs to hear of God’s gospel of grace in the person and work of Jesus! Churches open your doors wide and receive all who come!

Ephesians 4:2124 you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

Peer-reviewed study reveals inflated fatalities by the CDC. I know, probably just disinformation though right. The study found that if the CDC had abided by the guidelines for reporting causes of deaths that they had been using for nearly two decades, the total COVID-19 fatalities would have been approximately 92 percent lower than what was reported. According to the calculations by the IPAK and the PHPI, by today’s numbers, that would take the 468,000 reported deaths dow...n to just under 35,000. https://www.wnd.com//study-finds-cdc-inflated-covid-numbe/ https://www.oann.com/study-finds-errors-in-cdc-covid-19-fa/

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Sermon sidetracked yesterday and again this morning. Last night I had a meeting with a couple I’ve never met before. They came to talk to me about a ceremonial service they would like performed. All kinds of reasons they were seeking this, but the short of the story is there is some fear about what is happening in our world. What an opportunity to speak of Christ with them and really explain the gospel. Shared the hope we have in Christ, and showed them this is available to a...ll who will believe, and had a chance to pray with them. Looking forward to hearing more from them. Then this morning a neighbor came to visit. He had heard some conversation about a week ago about COVID related issues outside my home, and he wanted to come (he knows I am a pastor obviously) and talk to me about what’s going on. He shared some of his fears and concerns with what’s happening. As we talked about these things, this led into a 2 hour conversation about Jesus. Why did He come? Who is He? How is it that a man dying on a cross 2000 years ago can bring peace to anyone today? How is it that because of what Jesus has already accomplished, we as believers can have a rock-solid future which frees us to live in boldness and confidence in this world. We had a time of prayer together and it was wonderful. Soli Deo Gloria! Moral of the story: Use the circumstances of our world to talk to people, because it is pretty easy to turn that conversation to tell of the hope we have in Christ. But if we shy away, if we are afraid of touching real-life issues, if we are scared that these issues might be overly sensitive with people holding different views, then we are probably missing opportunities to have meaningful conversations leading to gospel proclamation. Today has been set apart for us as a church to pray and fast calling upon the Lord for wisdom and resolve to do as the Lord directs for our world, country, province, city, and church leadership. To understand our roles as messengers of the gospel and to ask the Lord to open opportunities and our eyes to see those opportunities to bring the gospel of peace to a fearful world and declare the victory Christ has already accomplished for all who will call upon His name! Call each other and pray together. Have a visit and pray together. May the Lord bless all of us as we draw near to Him in prayer! Pastor Steve
