This is a petition to help get some regulation around counselling in BC. Most consumers don't know that anyone can legally call themselves a counsellor in this province. Personally, I think that even if people are well-meaning, regulation helps decrease harmful practices being touted as "good therapy." It is hard enough to take that step, much less to then get someone who really lacks the credentials and qualifications to do the work. Please sign if this interests you.
