Female Hockey

Well I did not want to let this cat out of the bag before the Kelvin Female High School Team finished their playoff run as I did not want to jinx the team. But now I can announce that my youngest daughter Mya Jorgenson who did not even start skating until she was 11 years old has made the Balmoral Hall Blazers Prep College Female Hockey Team and will suit up with them next year in Grade 10. The Balmoral Blazers are a top ranked Prep Team that plays in the North American Major... Junior Women's Hockey League ( http://www.jwhl.org//s/1266526-major-junior-jwhl-2014-2015- ) which currently has a team in each of the following locations: Vancouver, Calgary, Warner AB, Notre Dame SK, Winnipeg, Denver, Vermont, Boston, and Washington DC so Mya will be getting a lot of Aeroplan points flying to all these games and is super excited to make the jump to this next level of competition. So proud of you Kiddo and the passion for the game you bring to the rink everyday win or lose. I still cannot believe you just started to learn to skate less than 4 years ago when you were 11 years old and I am so pumped to see how far you take your game over the next 3 seasons before College. Mya scores the only shoot out goal today to give Kelvin a 2-1 OT Shoot Out Win over CJS in Game #1 of their playoff series.
