Always looking for that breakthrough story that gets the journalists' attention. Last week's press release did it! "L’organisme Action cancer du sein Québec se réjouit donc de la décision du géant du commerce de détail Loblaw d’ éliminer progressivement de ses magasins le papier servant à produire des reçus de caisse contenant du bisphénol A (BPA), bisphénol S et autres bisphénols dangereux ."
Interview with Dr. Shanna Swan, author of new book, Countdown. "Yes, we found a relationship between women’s phthalate levels and their sexual satisfaction. And researchers in China found that workers with higher levels of bisphenol A, commonly known as BPA, in their blood were more likely to have sexual problems, including decreased desire."

"There's been so much interest [in breast cancer recurrence]. It's a top cause of cancer death in the US and globally. The urgent need is evident," she explained. Breast cancer advocates have long been calling for SEER to count recurrence, including metastatic recurrence. Katherine O'Brien, a breast cancer "metser" from Chicago, is credited with especially turning the heat up on the NCI.... In 2015, O'Brien spearheaded the creation of an online petition on the website Change.org calling on the NCI's SEER, the CDC, and all state cancer registries to start counting all people living with metastatic breast cancer, including those whose early-stage disease progressed. The petition, which is now closed, collected nearly 12,000 signatures.
Meg Sears of Prevent Cancer Now writes how, "Environmental contaminants are causing chronic diseases, and almost all of the severe #COVID19 cases are in individuals with these chronic conditions."
