The Lions Club would like to thank everyone for the toy donations yesterday at the Red Apple! The Fill a Sleigh drive was a success, and will be used to support local families! Thank you Lion Barry for all your hard work yesterday!

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Walk for Dog Guides in Fenelon Falls in Sept. We raised a whopping $1535 Locally and $548,754 Nationally! We can't wait to see you again next year!

A big thank you to our community! The e.Waste and textile recycling bin we offered to our residents this spring and summer raised $1600! That money has gone directly back into our town to help support many initiatives.

Fenelon Falls and District Lions Club is helping our community! We will be supporting an Electronics Waste & Clothing Donation drive! Date: May 5 June 30... Time: Daily from 9-6 Location: Old Bert's Appliance parking lot (54 Colborne Street) The bin will be marked as Lion’ Club ONLY Electronic Waste (TV’s, computers, VCR’s, etc) and clothing (in bags) can be dropped off inside the bin. The Electronics will be recycled through the Ontario Electronic Stewardship Program and the clothing is received by the Ontario Federation of Cerebral Palsy program. We ask that everyone respect these rules and not drop off any other household items or garbage.

In response to COVID-19, we will be doing things a little different this year and are excited to announce that our annual Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides is going ...VIRTUAL! Thanks to our national sponsor, Pet Valu family of stores, all of the proceeds will assist with the training and placing of Dog Guides for Canadians with a medical or physical disability.
