Now that the station gallery is closed for the year, we encourage you to get your art fix at the Victoria County Studio Tour this coming weekend and the next. A few of the artists that were in the Station Gallery will be in their studios as well as a lot of different artists. They are taking all the precautions and are excited to show off what they've been working on. Most of the artists are also open by appointment in the week between the two weekends, but call ahead and make arrangements first. #studiotour #vcst2020 #35thanniversary #kawarthalakes #artisans

Carol Nichol has been at the gallery since Saturday and will be there today and Friday as well. Come on down and see hers and all the other artist's beautiful work! Just a reminder the gallery is winding down as Autumn approaches and we are open now from Friday to Monday each week from 10 - 5p.m. What Carol has to say about her works - "As an artist, I am attracted to shape and form. A graceful sweep, a beautiful line, a stunning shape can attract and hold my attention. Move my soul. There is a desire in me to capture the experience on paper or in three dimension, to extend and hold the enjoyment longer, to explore it further, to actually feel the contours and the entire image in my hands.
