The City of Calgary Your Local Government is looking at technologies to build resiliency into their water system while reducing costs and disruptions to their residents. One of these technologies is #altracipp watermain rehabilitation. Several members from the City were onsite this week to take a closer look.

Check out the article below to read an overview of our recent project in the City of Waukegan. We partnered with the City to rehabilitate 1300ft of failing water main, saving the City money, time and disruption.

It was great having Sam Cunningham Waukegan Mayor on-site to see our latest installation of #ALTRACIPP in the City of Waukegan. Our current project is saving the City of Waukegan money as well as minimizing the disruption to residents.

Today, Sam Cunningham Waukegan Mayor had an onsite, high-level briefing on innovative technology used to rehabilitate a watermain underneath Lewis Avenue. The ...City hired FER-PAL Infrastructure to complete the installation of a product called ALTRA Cured-In-Place-Pipe, trenchless technology that employs robotics to build new watermains inside of the old ones. The new watermain is projected to last over 80-years and is able to move with the soil preventing future breaks. This City is testing this new technology to minimize service disruptions to residents and businesses, reduce operating costs and greenhouse emissions, and invest in the community. #cityofprogress #waukegan See more
