Are you a professional performing artist that lives in Centre Wellington? Do you have a passion for community engagement? The Fergus Grand Theatre, through Ontario Presents, has received funding to partner with a local artist or artists to develop a creative project with a focus on community engagement. Check out Arts Engage Canada for some examples of the kinds of community engagement projects that are eligible for funding under this program: https://artsengagecanada.ca/ T...he project must begin this fall, and be completed by March 2021. As the full grant funding goes to artist fees, proposed projects should not require significant additional funding for resources, inputs, or other supports. To learn more, or to submit a proposal, interested persons should contact Eric Goudie, Theatre Coordinator at [email protected]. The deadline for proposals is Friday, August 21st.
