Brantford Lights at Glenhyrst 2020 Submitted Media Release Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant is pleased to announce our upcoming event, The Brantford Lights at Gle...nhyrst from December 4, 2020 to January 1, 2021 from 6 to 9 pm nightly. Due to Covid-19 there will not be any official opening event. The gallery will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday evenings throughout December (except December 25th and 26th) with Covid restrictions in place (limited number of patrons). The Golden Teapot will continue to take reservations for their Twilight Tea during the Light show with Covid regulations in place. Friday, December 4th will also be the official opening of the Vibrant Palette Student Exhibit, sponsored by The Royal Bank of Canada. Over 200 pieces of art from local students will be on display and will continue for the duration of the light show. We are so appreciative of the teachers and schools that continue to support this special exhibit during these extraordinary times. The lights will be on display at Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, 20 Ava Rd. Brantford, Ontario. Admission to the gallery and this event is free although donations are appreciated. Collection bins are also available for Brantford Food Bank donations. Special thanks to our sponsors, Millards Chartered Professional Accountants, BScene, Clarence Street Dental Group, ARK ELECTRICAL LTD, Revera Charlotte Villa Retirement Residence, and particularly the City of Brantford for their ongoing support of this Brantford tradition. Today at the National Memorial in Ottawa veterans waited across the street and down the street for their chance to remember. One veteran wrote "Not allowed up until all the talking heads left...you know the people who sacrificed nothing... lots of pissed off vets in the crowd" Thank you to all veterans
