Ferguson Brothers Racing 03.05.2021

Just wanted to give you guys some heads up! Here’s photos of two shocks off a 2021 Indy VR1 129. FYI - This isn’t the only sled we’ve seen these issues with. 1st picture: The front track shock(FTS), with 100 miles, you can notice the spring is installed upside down. You can tell because the tab of the spring is sitting in the retainer clip on the top. It should be flipped and actually be sitting in the spring adjuster nut. That way you can easily adjust your spring while it ...is in the sled. Also would like to mention that the reason the sticker is tearing apart is because of the reservoir being so close to the rail that when ice builds up it’ll rub against it. Put a call into Walker Evans about this, hopefully they will flip the sticker so the part # side doesn’t get torn off anymore. 2nd picture: The rear track shock(RTS), with 700 miles is stuck near the bottom of its stroke. There’s a couple things we believe caused this, however it was easily fixed by rebuilding the shock and making sure nothing internally was causing this. Hope this helps some of you. Happy riding everyone!

Wow, haven’t seen damage like this in a while. The shaft was sheared too. All fixed now! Have lots of parts in stock, so turn around time was two days. #brokenshock

Had a chance to leave from our shop today. It isn’t often we are able to do that down here. Trails were ok for the conditions we had so far, sleds were great for the first time out!

Had some time today to play with the valving on these Walker evans 2.0 velocity shocks, which came off a 2018 Polaris snocross sled. Now to test them in the real world. Super excited to see how they do. More to come...

Just had these shocks come through the shop for a rebuild. Off a 2015 RZR 1000. You can see the size comparison between them and a front velocity shock off a 2021 Polaris vr1. Massive. We can rebuild any shocks, message for details.
