Ferraro Contracting

PLEASE READ AND SHARE! I don't usually post stuff like this, but i thought i would at least try and prevent a few people on my facebook from having to deal with unreliable contractors. If anyone i know is or has dealt with Tony Briganti from www.greenleafbuilders.ca, this is a warning to you.... So back in May of this passed year, i took on a drywall job with a friend. We usually take on jobs together and usually have no problems. We had finished the drywall, and i taped and finished the whole house. The owner was extremely happy with our work. This guy drives around in a top of the line Toyota Tundra, acting like hes a big time contractor. He kept delaying our payment making excuses. He is now not answering any of our calls, and refuses to speak to us. The owner ended up firing him from the job, and was extremely unhappy with his services. This poor family was out of their house for 10 MONTHS! I had also spoke with the electrician of the job, who has claimed that he is owed $24 500 for his services of the house. After doing some more research, i found out that he owned two other companies, which are now closed (hmmm wonder why?). I always strongly suggest that people do their homework and really research the contractors they use. They don't necessarily have to have a homestars page, but they need to have some sort of social media, or referrals from other clients you know and trust. This guy had no social media presence, and was one of the most smooth, professional talkers that i have ever met in my life. He owes my friend and i almost $7000. Ive posted a picture of him, and his website. Just a warning to anyone who has used or is thinking of using him in the future, i strongly advise you to use someone else.
