Tuesday, November 28 is Giving Tuesday! Just 4 days until the global celebration of giving. Encourage others to join you this #GivingTuesdayCa. Donations provide support for teens, women and couples. FertilityCare Toronto provides women with a method to investigate and treat gynecological health issues. These conditions could include endometriosis, uterine fibroids, unusual bleeding, PMS, polycystic ovarian syndrome and dysmenorrhea to name a few.

Can you help with low sperm count? Yes. FertilityCare Toronto can help with low sperm count. NaProTECHNOLOGY addresses male factor infertility in the context of the couple, by evaluating and treating the man and optimizing the womans cycle at the same time.

What is Premenstral Syndrome (PMS)? Premenstrual syndrome affects 40% of women approximately 7-10 days before their period. Symptoms include: irritability, breast tenderness, bloating, weight gain, cravings for carbohydrates, crying easily, depression, headaches and insomnia. Often the cause of PMS is a hormonal imbalance that FertilityCare Toronto can easily treat.

What is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)? Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a hormonal imbalance that causes the ovaries to malfunction and is the most common hormonal disorder in women. The classic signs are long or irregular menstrual cycles.

We can help! Are the services at FertilityCare Toronto covered by OHIP/insurance? All doctor visits are covered by OHIP with the exception of an optional $200 Annual fee for uninsured services. The medications prescribed by our doctors may be covered by your health insurance provider depending on the benefits package you have. Instruction in the Creighton Model FertilityCare System is not yet covered by OHIP or most Third party insurance providers. Appointments with FertilityCare doctors are covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Clients are required to have charted a minimum of two cycles before seeing a FertilityCare doctor.

What is endometriosis? This is a condition where cells from within the uterus move and implant themselves in other locations. When the cells take up their new location they continue to be hormonally responsive. Some women experience no symptoms; others suffer severe menstrual cramps and painful intercourse. This condition is often associated with infertility.
