On this Giving Tuesday I would like to share my greatest gift that I was able to give 4 years ago today. My uncle was the lucky recipient and he's been doing amazing ever since. What I am doing for our essential frontline workers.

I wanted to post information about how reflexology helps and I thought I would start with something that has been a stigma for too long and needs to be normalized; Anxiety and depression. Please remember that reflexology is meant as a complimentary healing tool and not alternative to taking medication or seeing your regular health practitioner. A reflexology session goes beyond your run of the mill foot rub. A reflexologist will work o...n specific points on the feet that correspond to different parts of the body and will help those areas relax, and improve their function. For those who suffer from anxiety and depression, regular sessions show that the person feels better during the session, and the endorphins released can last even after the client has gone home. (everyone is different and so the lasting effect will differ for each individual) In this time of uncertainty and fear, anxiety and depression has risen immensely. It's a good thing to know that there's something out there that can help that's non-invasive, easily accessible, and may be covered (with certain insurance companies) by your company health plan.
