My dad was such a wonderful peaceful person. his gentle nature and kind heart are an abiding memory for me. The example of His Christlike life of peace constatnly challenge me to seek the Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you know Him as your peace?

We are hidden in Christ and it is in Him we can rest and live. Yet as humans we are easily distracted and lulled into thinking we can live this Christian life on our own. No wonder we get into a frustrated cycle of trying and failing rather than relying and winning. Live in the vicotry Jesus has won on your behalf... in Him.

Battling the forces of darkness could be a discouraging expereince until you hand the battle over to the Victor, the Lord Jesus who will fight the battle for you. Be strong in the Lord Jesus adn the power of His might!
