Our hearts, prayers, and most sincere condolences go out to the Lafoy-Keepness family and the people of Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation on the passing of Heather Lafoy-Keepness. For decades, Heather has been like a rock to us here at the Tribal Council. Her wisdom, guidance, work ethic, and tenacity will be sorely missed by many. We love you Heather! Kininsaskomitin, nina pinamaya, lila pilamaya, wopida, chii miigwech, thank you
With the weekend ahead, soaring COVID-19 case numbers all across SK, and in an effort to help slow the spread, please: - Wash your hands regularly, - Physically distance, - Wear your mask when going out (discard damp masks due to cold weather, or, wash reusable masks regularly),... - Keep private gatherings to no more than 15 people in your daily circle, and 10 people otherwise, - Stay home if you feel ill. We do this to protect not only ourselves, but our Knowledge Keepers, youth, and elderly. Thank you for doing your part!
