A nice and memorable concrete front porch we renovated in downtown Toronto. To make this porch extremely durable, we supported it with foundation walls 4 feet below grade (below the frost line) and connected the entire structure together with 15M steel bar reinforcement. We also installed electric heating cables so the owners will never have to shovel. To make it interesting, we were able to energize the heating cables the day before the first snow fall! There is a photo of this below. Finally, we finished it off by installing new bricks walls and galvanized railings. Structurally designed internally by the Fida Restoration team! We truly enjoyed this project and we thank our clients for entrusting us with this important project for them!

Before, during, and after of a chimney brick repair we completed for a return customer. When we started the restoration, we discovered that the cause of the damage was trapped water and moisture in the chimney. We recently started a stairwell repair project. First we start with shoring of the concrete for safety. After the removals, we cleaned the rebar from existing corrosion and applied two coats of epoxy. Next step is to form and pour. After a few weeks at one site, we wrapped up two projects in Brampton. After completing the stamped concrete driveway shown in the previous post, we stamped and sealed the steps, did the walkway on the other side of the house, and completed the neighbour's backyard pad. For the neighbour, we also did a stamped walkway and driveway borders which we acid stained. Only thing left is installing the decorative Jewelstone system on the steps and porch! Want to have the best looking driveway on your street?! These clients certainly did! Here we poured over 1500 SF of stamped concrete along with borders which we acid stained a dark walnut colour. We added an extra accent with decorative sawcutting. The result: a damn good looking driveway and happy clients!
