Good Afternoon everyone. We have a disgruntled student that we have dismissed due to lack of commitment, poor attitude, explosive anger issues, poor attendance and lack of respect. He is spreading lies and negativity about our school and the owner/operator. All of his accusations are completely false and absolutely ridiculous. We apologize to anyone for having to see any of his slander. We aim to help and provide every single one of our students, the best education toward their commercial driving goals. This student is the ONLY student we have ever not completed training with, even provided extra hours out of pocket in hopes to have him succeed. Mike is a very patient and thorough instructor, always making sure his students get the best commercial driving education.
Though the article is written from a U.S.-based source, the ideas behind safe driving are the same. Stay safe - no "hot cargo" is worth compromising your life and the lives of others you share the road with.
With approximately 4,000 positions reported vacant in B.C. province alone last year, the demand for Class 1, 2, and 3 Professional Drivers is greater than ever, with no foreseeable end in sight to the growth in this industrial sector. Between lack of support from the provincial government in declaring Commercial Driving a trade, thereby granting access to additional funding opportunities and the consistent demand from many companies for "experienced drivers", it can be challe...nging to find options available to the everyday Canadian. There are options out there to assist with training expenses, such as Work BC's employment and training options, PGNAETA, and Metis Employment and Training which is accessible for B.C. residents of aboriginal or Metis ancestry, and Kopar Administration's "Skills Quest" program for residents inflicted with a form of disability. But what options are out there to access training for an individual that is currently working, but having trouble making ends meet or just wanting employment that is more flexible, more secure, or better paid and doesn't have the time, money, or interest in undertaking a college/university degree program that will take years and tens of thousands of dollars to complete? The answer? Virtually NONE! This is where we try to bridge this gap - to B.C. residents hoping to pursue a career in professional or commercial driving, we can provide custom-designed payment plans to meet your needs, along with flexible timeframes for training so that you can keep working or going to school in the meantime and still work towards that goal you have set to give you and your loved ones a better life. To anyone new in the trucking industry or considering a career as a transport trucker, one of the greatest barriers is deciding what kind of trucking you would like to do and how to get into it. In an effort to encourage new drivers to pursue this amazingly rewarding career and offer as much transparency as possible on the topic, I would like to share an article from an organization that is designed to provide career guidance to truckers both new and experienced. Please note that we did not write this article, but hope that the information provided in this article and any affiliate links can help answer many questions that you may have.
Congrats to all of our prospective Professional Drivers out there!
