Two more weeks of Stay At Home :-( thanks for your continued support, everyone. Stay safe!

I need to brag for a moment. I've fixed no less than 6 broken strings and 2 popped bridges this week. This is very normal in a cold snap but before bringing the fiddles to me, students have all attempted to fix the fiddles themselves, with me coaching them through it over Skype or zoom or Facebook messenger. It is bloody terrifying to tune a fiddle, because the tuning pegs are not geared pegs, and while yes, I've fixed 6 fiddles this week, everybody TRIED, and quite a few have successfully tuned their own instruments for the first time as well. Super, super proud of the patience and willingness to try that you guys have displayed and so thankful to have you all.

STEPDANCERS: Chad Wolfe (one of my fiddle teachers and my stepdance teacher!) Has released a gorgeous new album of really great stepdance music at varying speeds. I can't even imagine the hard work Dane put in to sync up all our videos and balance sound etc...anyways, we're all tiny but if you look for my Branch 23 bass drum skin you can find me that way.

This is me, 6 years ago, during "boot camp" week for competitions. I retired from competing after that season and I retired on a high note. My personal goal for this summer is to be able to do this routine again.
