It’s a crisp evening out tonight, but it seems like summer is just getting started! We have been busy for the last couple of weekends helping couples celebrate their big day! And we will be celebrating with a lot more couples in the weeks to come!! We’re headed to @thejunemotel in a few weeks to design wedding spaces that will be perfect for the 2021 couples. ... And two of our own are celebrating their own weddings as well. We’ve still got such a busy wedding season ahead of us! And we couldn’t be happier about it!!!!!!

These two got married yesterday!!! And a few of us got to be there to help bring this beautiful wedding together. Taylor was on decor and coordinating. Teagan brought beautiful florals. And Jay was snappin’ shots. There was something so so special amount the intimacy of this wedding. Maybe it was the gorgeous waterfront family cottage. Or the close knit crew who was in attendance. Or that their puppy walked down the isle and made their first dance an experience for three. We were so grateful to be apart of your day Emily and Adam. Congratulations!!!!!! @ Golden Lake, Ontario

Engagement sessions are so special! And they give you a chance to build a friendship with your photographer because that’s what we want it to feel like working with us on your wedding day! You also get a feel for what having you photo taken will feel like on your wedding day so you will be an absolute pro at it! Grateful. I think I can speak for all of us when I say how thankful we are. To have our own businesses. We have so much gratitude to have the ability to guide our future. To be surrounded by our supportive communities and each other. To have an abundance of work. Long weekend vibes...

Ooo folks!! Ideas were flowing tonight. It is so fulfilling to just hang with no intentions except to be together. And so much fun to do so while making pretty cocktails. I read in my @thefiveminutejournal today that gratitude is ...the feeling that embodies the phrase thank you. What an amazing gift we have, to choose what can focus on, to choose gratefulness. So what are you grateful for today? Right now? In the space you’re in? Damn. I am so grateful to be surrounded by such amazing chics. Women who can grow together. No matter where each of us started and where each of us are going, we know that we will be there for one another along the way.

It’s the weekend!! How’s everyone been spending their weekends this summer? We’ve been soaking up wayyyyy more vitamin D than normal and are so grateful for it!... We’ve also become somewhat of cocktail connoisseurs, exploring a lot of different homemade cocktails that we can enjoy! We’re definitely leaning into recipes with fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables. Tonight is an Aprerol Spritz kinda night!

Teagan and I worked together today to shoot really beautiful images of some of the house plants she’s going to carry in her new shop (launching soon!!!!!!) I am so grateful to work with businesses to help bring their brand to life and to communicate the perfection of their product through images. It’s sooo much fun taking a unique approach to content like this. It stands out because it’s a bit untraditional to the stark white backdrop. And it helps to share the uniqueness of the business and connect that with their customers.

We’re coming up on our 1 year anniversary as Fifth & co. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been working alongside each other for 365 days. It’s also hard to believe that it’s only been 365 days!! . We’ve been constantly evolving as a team and in our own businesses over the past year. And so we have some exciting things rolling out this summer that we can’t wait to share with you!!

We spent the day with @the_atelier_collective and soooo many other amazing women through the re-imagined digital conference by The Atelier Collective. It was full of thought provoking stories and ideas, inspiration from the speakers and a contagious energy! Sooo fun!! The highlight of my day was listening to @elizabeth_gilbert_writer And hanging with other ambitious women in business.

Excited for a day of learning with @the_atelier_collective tomorrow alongside our team. Unwrapping our VIP box and finding so many amazing goodies!

Oh how far we’ve come.. Last summer, around this time, Fifth & co started renovations on our space. If you would have told me last summer how soooooo drastically different this year would look, I would not have believed you. Like so many of you we’ve been pretty quiet on here lately. So much has happened in such a short time, it’s breathtaking. We’ve taken time to listen, learn, digest, learn some more. We will continue to do so because we know we can’t stop. We will continu...e to educate ourselves and use our business for good. That is why we’re in business; doing good in business and doing business for good should not be separate. We’re here to do what’s right, to listen to our guts, to support change that needs to happen. And we’ve still got a long way to go. @ Fifth & Co.
