If you are interested in digital preservation, AAO just announced this upcoming workshop. It will demonstrate a low cost digital preservation workflow for novices. Participants will be introduced to the principles underlying digital preservation, be given a demonstration of some open source tools that can be used in a preservation workflow, and be given the opportunity to try out these tools. There will also be an introduction to some web archiving tools. When: Wednesday May ...12th 9:00am to 12:00pm (ET). Where: Online. Instructions will be sent after registration. Cost: $80 (AAO members); $50 (AAO student members); $120 (non-members)
