Shakespeare said, "Comparison is the thief of joy." You can never be anyone else so never try to be. Your happiness, success, and joy comes from striving to be the best version of you and not trying to be better than someone else. Michelle Maros

When it comes to weight loss, most people focus on what to eat and how to exercise. They don't think their thoughts have anything to do with their weight loss efforts. And I can understand that, because that's all that traditional diet systems focus on. But this is one of the reasons that traditional diet systems have also failed most of us when it comes to achieving our health goals... Watch this short video to find out how your thoughts can impact your metabolism

Knowing what to do usually is not enough when it comes to long term, sustainable weight loss If you've spent years going on diet after diet after diet, and still aren't where you want to go, then you probably already know this And traditional diet systems don't help us with this at all... They only focus on telling us what to do, and totally ignore helping us change who we are BEING with food Our relationships with food can be very complex Telling you to just eat less and exercise more, is not helpful. We know this. Telling us just to have more willpower is not helpful. We have plenty of willpower, it's just divided Divided between the part of us that wants to lose weight, and the parts of us that have different agendas Telling us to just have a strong "Why" is not helpful without also teaching us how to discover our "Why Nots". If you have a strong why and you haven't been able to change your habits, then you can be guaranteed there's a part of you that has a stronger Why Not. We can know everything about what nutrition works well in our body, what exercise works well for our body, but if we don't know how to master the parts of our mind that drive us towards unhealthy eating behaviours and/or using food to manage emotions, then all that knowledge isn't going to help much. The key to making lasting changes in your relationship with food is to master your mind, release the limiting beliefs that are keeping you stuck, and get the conflicting parts of you aligned to a common vision

Life is fluid, it never stays the same. The same goes for our mood, state of mind, and health, mentally and physically. I like to reframe the feelings of being ...stuck or falling backwards as life giving me the time I mentally and physically need to rest, regroup, gain strength, and become aware of the choices that are before me for the next steps on my path. I’ve always loved this quote from Thomas Edison: While conducting a series of unsuccessful experiments, I have not failed, I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work. So remind yourself when you’re feeling mentally off: My progress is here, and my mental state right now is showing me ways that won’t produce the outcomes that I desire moving forward.

Are you afraid to accept your body? I know there's alot of talk these days about body positivity and accepting your body no matter what size it is A part of you might think that sounds wonderful!... And another part of you might be scared to do it Check out my latest blog where I dissect this fear, and separate out the desire to be attractive, from the associated beliefs that drag many of us down https://www.finallyfreecoaching.com//body-image-fear-accep
