This month we are celebrating 40 years of serving the London and surrounding area. We will be back and swimming towards another 40 soon! Due to the new announcement we will have to close our swim school as of midnight on April 3rd for 28 days. If you were with us through the previous shut downs you know how terrible we feel about having to cut your lessons on such short notice. All current clients will have an email with additional details. ... Covid-19 Update: It is with great sadness we regret to inform you that starting December 26th under the Ontario-wide lockdown and due to increasing risks of Covid-19 in our community we will have to implement a temporary closure. Throughout the duration of this pandemic we have done everything in our power to keep our community here at Finan safe and healthy, following all mandates and procedural changes. The health and wellness of our community is of the utmost importance to us, we encourage you all to stay active during these next few weeks and we hope to see you all back at Finan when it is safe to do so

Parent and tot classes are a great way to introduce young kids to the water as they can build a good relationship with swimming in a controlled environment. Sometimes you just have to laugh it off It’s normal for children to cry during lessons in a new environment and with a new teacher. We recommend working through this with your child and us so you can reap the benefits of consistent swimming lessons! We promise it’s harder on you than on them. Hands up if you love fall! While there is lots to love about this season. The weather can be unpredictable. You are now able to watch lessons (limited seating available) from our 92 degree pool deck, or from our 73 degree lobby on our live feed monitors

Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for your patience as we waited to hear back from our health inspector on any recommendations for our facility in light of these new regulations. ... We have been operating at a capacity that was lower than we were permitted to do so with and have been committed to all of our new safety precautions that allowed us to reopen safely. This means that we will be allowed to continue lessons as before! We will however be taking off the shower curtains as a further recommended precaution. WE"RE BACK!!! We are SO excited to be able to share that we will be back and offering lessons at 400 Sugarcreek Trail in September. Our website is still undergoing some changes, but feel free to email us for more information! FAQ... 1. ARE LESSONS DIFFERENT? Yes, we have moved away from offering sessions (committing to 15 weeks of classes and paying upfront) to a monthly subscription style of lessons so that it is easier for you to start and stop with your schedule. 2. ARE CLASS SIZES DIFFERENT? Yes, group classes will now have a 3:1 ratio. As always semi privates will have a 2:1 ratio, and privates will have a 1:1 ratio 3. HOW ARE YOU ACCOMMODATING COVID POLICIES? Send us an email and we would be more than happy to send you our outlines to comply with new policies while still maintaining a fun atmosphere. Phase 2 Has Started! What does this mean for you and swimming? Today it was announced that the London area would be able to begin Phase 2 of reopening, this phase includes swimming pools.... We are working with our landlords to get an idea as to when they will allow us to resume lessons while following all new guidelines and recommendations. There are quite a few new changes that we will be executing so that we may continue to provide safe and effective lessons. As always you’ll be the first to know.

It’s going to be another hot one today! We get SO excited to see that some of you are still able to swim and improve your skills. This is Sophia jumping into the pool! TIP: if you don’t have a pool to use, try practicing breath control in your bathtub. Inhale air into your lungs and exhale through your mouth and nose for 5-10 seconds
