The population in North Stormont grew by approximately 800 today with the annual arrival of chicks at both Jamieson Campbell 1989 LTD in Monkland and Finch Fe...ed & Seed in Finch. Brandon Oosterhof gave us the lowdown on the start of a busy spring with their hatchery arrivals. Previous years have seen them receive up to 2000 birds in one day. Over 20 different varieties of chickens, ducks, turkeys etc are available to customers! Covid has fostered an increase in sales with more backyard homesteaders taking part.
