One of my real pleasures over the last year was spending time in British Columbia's Okanagan region. It has always been a favourite summer and winter vacation spot for local British Columbians and Albertans but this past year it was all the more important due to the lack of international travel. It is a definite perk of my role to be Managing Broker of our Okanagan presence as I get to spend so much time there; however, the real pleasure is working with our wonderful agents ...throughout the Okanagan valley. And we got the chance to welcome a new member to the Sotheby's International Realty Canada family in the Okanagan over the last couple months of 2020. Thomas Robinson joined the team of Nathan Flavel and Natalie Walstrom late in the year and has immediately made a positive mark. Thomas was both a competitive swimmer and rower, and has coached competitive swimming for the past several years. Regional, Provincial and National level athletes have relied on his strong communication skills and dedication. As a Realtor, that same level of commitment and drive is already apparent. First full working day back of 2021 and although it's a new year, most of what we are doing is still done in the virtual world due to COVID restrictions. That being said, the virtual world can produce great real world benefits! 2020 is behind us and we can now begin to focus on positive energy as we move into 2021.
