It was a fabulous winter day for riding in the snow and making snow angels at Fin de Ville.

Today Fin de Ville said good bye to a member of our family. Jack be Nimble was an incredible athlete in his prime and a cuddle bug all his life. We will miss you Jack, but no more pain.

Robyn, Basia and Patty built snowmen in the boys' paddocks today. They had horse treat eyes, noses, mouths and buttons and one had hay for hair. The reactions were predictable

So many of us dream of cantering through the deep snow in a big field. Today that dream came true for Andrea and Pepper.

Baby Qasanova came to Fin de Ville to be very lightly backed. He has finished his month at Fin de Ville. What did this little 2 and a half year old learn? He learned to stand quietly on the crossties He learned to longline-lunge; to stand quietly at the mounting block and to walk under saddle. Well done Qasanova

Cliff, Fin de Ville's CTO (Chief Tractor Operator), is doing a great job in the paddocks. Scrape off the loose soil, put down fabric and cover with lots of stone dust inside the shelters and to the gates. Two paddocks done. At least three more to go. Then we finish the new shelter. I hope Mother Nature supports us.
